A 18th century cove sofit dairy on this original one from the York County Poor Farm, drawn and photographed in the 1930's. With the dairy underway, the white oak sills were mortised and tenoned together with the corner posts set. We set the plates for the dairy, with the studs bird's mouth lapped into the plate. The completed dairy is placed by this smoke house that we built in 2010. The historical record for this site indicates several outbuildings that we continue to reproduce over the next few years.
